Terms of Service

Imaginest is an online platform that helps homeowners discover and connect with architects and interior designers.

Imaginest may provide tools for browsing professional profiles, submitting project requirements, receiving proposals, recording agreement confirmations, managing project stages, and providing reviews.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Imaginest is not itself an architectural practice, interior-design firm, construction contractor, engineering consultancy, or agent of any homeowner or professional.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to use Imaginest.

By creating an account, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorised to use the account and information submitted.

You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate and current information.
• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• All activity conducted through your account.
• Promptly notifying Imaginest of suspected unauthorised access.
• Keeping your contact and profile information updated.

Imaginest may suspend or restrict accounts containing false, misleading, unlawful, or incomplete information.

Homeowners are responsible for:

• Providing accurate project requirements and property information.
• Reviewing professional profiles, proposals, qualifications, and experience.
• Conducting any independent checks they consider necessary.
• Clarifying project scope, fees, deliverables, timelines, revisions, intellectual-property rights, and other commercial terms directly with the professional.
• Ensuring that any required approvals, permissions, ownership rights, or site access are available.
• Making their own decision regarding the selection and engagement of a professional.

Architects and interior designers using Imaginest are responsible for:

• Providing truthful and current profile information.
• Accurately describing their qualifications, experience, services, portfolio, and availability.
• Maintaining any licences, registrations, permissions, or professional requirements applicable to their work.
• Responding honestly and professionally to consultation requests.
• Clearly communicating scope, fees, deliverables, timelines, assumptions, and limitations.
• Protecting confidential homeowner and project information.
• Performing agreed services with appropriate professional care.
• Complying with applicable laws, codes, standards, and contractual obligations.

Imaginest may review professional information or documents for platform-verification purposes.

Verification is intended to support platform trust but does not constitute a licence, certification, warranty, endorsement, guarantee, or representation that a professional is suitable for a particular project.

Users must exercise independent judgment before entering into an agreement.

A consultation request is an invitation to consider a project and does not, by itself, create a binding professional engagement.

A proposal submitted through Imaginest may include scope, fees, timelines, assumptions, exclusions, or other terms provided by the professional.

Acceptance of a proposal on the platform may record the parties’ intention to proceed but does not replace a detailed written agreement where one is appropriate or legally required.

Any professional-service agreement is entered into directly between the homeowner and the professional.

The parties are responsible for agreeing on:

• Scope of services.
• Fees and payment arrangements.
• Deliverables.
• Timelines and milestones.
• Revisions.
• Site visits.
• Approvals.
• Intellectual-property rights.
• Confidentiality.
• Termination.
• Liability.
• Dispute resolution.
• Any other project-specific terms.

Imaginest may provide features allowing users to record that an agreement has been finalised, but Imaginest is not a party to that agreement unless expressly stated in writing.

Unless a payment service is expressly introduced and identified on the platform, payments between homeowners and professionals take place independently of Imaginest.

Users are responsible for documenting and verifying payment arrangements.

If Imaginest introduces payment, subscription, commission, or transaction services in the future, additional terms may apply and will be communicated before use.

Users may be permitted to submit reviews and ratings based on genuine platform experiences.

Reviews must not contain:

• False or misleading statements.
• Threats, harassment, or abusive content.
• Discriminatory or unlawful content.
• Confidential information.
• Personal information unrelated to the service.
• Content submitted in exchange for an undisclosed benefit.
• Material that infringes another person’s rights.

Imaginest may moderate, remove, restrict, or decline to publish content that violates these Terms or platform standards.

You retain ownership of content you submit, subject to any rights belonging to third parties.

By uploading content to Imaginest, you grant Imaginest a non-exclusive, limited right to host, store, reproduce, format, display, and process that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, promote, and improve the platform.

You must not upload content unless you have the necessary rights and permissions.

The Imaginest name, branding, design, software, platform interface, text, graphics, and other platform materials are owned by or licensed to Imaginest and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, reverse-engineer, scrape, or exploit platform materials except as permitted by law or with prior written authorisation.

You must not:

• Use the platform for unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, or abusive purposes.
• Impersonate another person or organisation.
• Submit false professional credentials or misleading project information.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to accounts, systems, or data.
• Introduce malware, harmful code, or disruptive technology.
• Scrape, harvest, or systematically extract platform data without permission.
• Circumvent security or access controls.
• Harass, threaten, discriminate against, or exploit another user.
• Infringe intellectual-property, privacy, confidentiality, or other legal rights.
• Use the platform in a manner that damages its operation or reputation.

We aim to provide a reliable platform but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.

Imaginest may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue features where reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, operational, legal, or commercial reasons.

Imaginest provides a platform for discovery, communication, and project coordination.

To the extent permitted by law:

• Imaginest does not guarantee that a user will receive or accept a proposal.
• Imaginest does not guarantee the quality, legality, safety, accuracy, pricing, availability, or outcome of professional services.
• Imaginest is not responsible for design, construction, engineering, site, regulatory, contractual, payment, or professional decisions made between users.
• Professional profiles, portfolios, ratings, and verification indicators should not be treated as substitutes for independent assessment.
• Users engage with one another at their own judgment and risk.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Imaginest will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive loss arising from:

• Use of or inability to use the platform.
• Selection, engagement, conduct, or performance of a professional.
• Disputes between users.
• Project delay, cost overrun, design outcome, construction issue, or service failure.
• Loss of data, opportunity, revenue, profit, reputation, or business.
• Unauthorised access beyond Imaginest’s reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Imaginest may suspend, restrict, or terminate access where a user:

• Violates these Terms.
• Creates security or legal risk.
• Provides false or misleading information.
• Misuses the platform.
• Harms other users or the platform.
• Fails to satisfy applicable eligibility or verification requirements.

Users may stop using the platform or request account deletion, subject to lawful retention requirements.

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for claims, losses, or expenses arising from your unlawful use of the platform, your breach of these Terms, your content, or your infringement of another person’s rights.

These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of Pakistan.

Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of competent jurisdiction in Pakistan, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Updated Terms will be published on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the platform after the updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
